Everything under the Land Rover brand – including the Discovery models, Range Rover line, and the new Defender brand – is now synonymous with a stylish and refined car, as well as its traditional workhorse reputation.
However you use your car, Land Rover detailing is essential to keep your car’s exterior and interior in good condition and well-protected. This is a guide for everything that Land Rover detailing involves.

How does Land Rover detailing work?
Initial inspection assessment
Land Rover detailing starts with a thorough assessment of your car’s conduction to review the level of Land Rover detailing needed – every package is bespoke to your needs. Using specialist equipment and lighting, we check paintwork, wheels and arches, interior trim, under-carriage, and the engine bay. From this, we’ll know exactly what we need to do to get back to showroom condition.

- Decontamination: A comprehensive cleaning process will remove dirt, grime, mud, tar, iron-fallout, road-salt, and other muck you pick up when driving a car daily. For this process, we use gentle, pH-balanced cleaning products, clay barring for stubborn marks, and soft microfiber cloths to prevent scratches.
- Paint correction: Over time, your Land Rover, Range Rover, or Defender will pick up imperfections in the paint work – it could be car paint scratches, paint swirls, oxidization or other blemishes. The paint correction service removes car scratches through multi-stage polishing and other techniques. This also leaves your car with a fantastic shine, making it look as if it has just left the showroom for the first time.
If you have a custom paint job, matte paint protection may be of interest too.
- Ceramic coating: A ceramic coating is the highest level of protection available for a car’s paintwork. It locks in the new-found shine and helps to protect your Land Rover against UV, moisture, and other pollutants.
Engine bay cleaning is also a preference for many clients, thoroughly cleaning everything under a car’s bonnet, including the engine block and surrounding components.
