Machine polishing cars
We have been detailing for years, and it always amazes us the difference a machine polish for cars can make. Machine polishing cars takes time and effort, but the end result often looks like a new coat of paint. If your paint is old, faded, or oxidised, polishing is one of the best methods of paint correction, and it’s very effective at car scratch removal. No enthusiast wants to compromise on their car’s appearance, which is why a machine polish should be top of the list on your aesthetic maintenance checklist.

Benefits of machine polishing cars
Most of our car detailing services work involves polishing at some stage of the process, and here is why we recommend machine polishing cars. If your paintwork is blighted with swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and other blemishes, machine polishing can bring it back to life. Bright, vibrant colours and black paint work especially benefit for polishing as it gives the colours a transformative level of depth.
Cars stand out from the crowd for a host of reasons, but the simplest trick in the book is a glossy finish – it turns a good car into a shining car. Machine polish for cars achieves a high level of shine by providing a smooth finish which reflects the light and catches everyone’s eye.
Before a ceramic coating is applied, we would advise a thorough polish to ensure your paint is up to the highest standards before locking it in.

How does a machine polish for cars work?
Car machine polishing is an efficient way of using advanced tools to do a manual job which would otherwise take weeks without the same consistent, high level of finish. There are four key steps to machine polishing: planning, cleaning, polishing, finishing.
Planning is the key first step for machine polishing. We are expert detailers and take time to assess the vehicle before starting work. We need to analyse the car to decide on the level of attention and correction required.
Next, it’s time for a deep clean. It’s essential that any dirt and grime is removed with a multiple stage wash process, and a clay bar will be used to remove stubborn marks. Without a thorough clean by a professional detailer, these contaminants will get caught in the pad and inflict carnage on the paint.
If your car hasn’t been polished in years and has a plethora of blemishes, we’ll suggest a multistage polish, whereas if it’s polished annually, a one-stage polish should suffice. We’ll decide on different pads and compounds depending on this.
Stage one polishing will use finer, non-abrasive compounds to simply provide a show-stopping gloss to the surface. Multistage polishing will use a full arsenal of detailing tools for effective paint correction. It will use a more abrasive compound to tackle scuffs and scratches with a more abrasive pad. Then a softer method to finish the polish and provide the all-important shine.
Only after the surface is intricately inspected and we are happy with the high standard of finishing, we’ll move onto the final step. It’s time to lock in that shine with wax, sealant, or ceramic coat, protecting your investment and ensuring the polish lasts as long as possible. This step also adds an even further level of gloss.
We use only the best products to polish, clean and gloss your car to bring it back to show room condition.
